As parents of two young kids, we were frustrated by how hard it was to find genuinely healthy food for our children. Everywhere we looked, the shelves were dominated by ultra-processed, high-sugar products disguised as 'healthy' choices. We started Terraleaf because we believe parents shouldn't have to struggle between convenience and nutrition.

It started with a few trays of microgreens in our bedroom. We grew those first trays for ourselves, shared them with friends, and slowly realised how amazing they are. A small growing room followed. Then our own facility in Sintra.

When we noticed how much our kids loved our microgreens, and the juices we made from them, we felt like this is what we wanna do: create real, nourishing food that kids actually enjoy.

And that's where we are now. Next to growing certified organic microgreens for local markets, bio shops, schools, and cafés, we're developing a line of clean and nourishing food products made specifically for kids.
